The Club House Hotel Kilkenny
Built between 1202 & 1285 it has been preserved in its original style and form. View the city and surrounding area from the 9th century round tower.
A 16th century Merchants home. Open to the public as a Museum, displaying some of the 2,500 artefacts collected by the Society since its founding in 1947.
The Gardens are also open to the public.
Kilkenny's Medieval 12th century castle is one of the most recognised buildings in Ireland. Set in 1830's
splendour with extensive gardens and parkland.
Located in the City, on the site of the Franciscan Abbey which was founded in 1231. Commercial brewing started in 1710 and it's Ireland's oldest Brewery. It has just recently opened to guided tours providing a pint of Smithwick's at the end! (over 18 years)

A pristine example of a romantic era garden dating from the 1790s. Untouched for 200 years, it is a picturesque paradise with a waterfall tumbling its way to a rushing stream and woodland paths leading to a cottage orné. Tiny bridges sit among
ancient trees, wild fox-gloves, ferns and other historically correct 18th century planting.
Originally part of the Demense of the 17th century Castlecomer House.The park includes 6km of woodland walking trails complete with picnic areas and two rainbow trout angling lakes. At the heart of the park is the visitor centre with its exhibition ‘Footprints in Coal' which explores the complete story of the Castlecomer coal from formation to extraction.
Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny Providing a varied programme of professional and amateur dramatics, classical and contemporary music, opera and dance, together with regular exhibitions of paintings and photographs. The comfortable 328 seat theatre is an intimate venue for artists and audiences alike and plays an important role in the cultural life of Kilkenny.
The SET Theatre is the latest part of Langtons Hotel. Constructed in 2009 it is a state of the art venue which can hold 270
people seated and 350 standing/seated. A multipurpose room which can cater for music acts, comedy, film and conferencing amongst others.
